Did you get the antenna installed in your head, yet? :-)

Umm, I *have* read Cryptonomicon.

My memory's probably not up to the task, though.

I am also an idiot.

I mean Snow Crash. I was discussing Cryptonomicon with someone else and got all screwed up (and it was a day or so after I saw him at a book reading. you think I could keep it all straight).

as soon as I was reminded of this thread by your reply, I realized I had screwed up. Oddly, I knew what he was talking about, and that it was a Stephenson book, but my brain has too much Stephenson in it sometimes. Anyways, if you've read Snow Crash, it has to do with Juanita becoming a neurohacker.

I can remind you of more of that plot thread, but if you haven't read it, I don't want to spoil it for you.

(on the other hand, if you haven't read it, considering the language explorations Chris has told me you indulge in, I think you'd find it interesting.)

I've read that too. 8)

My memory is bad. I do remember the neurohacking, though. Vaguely.

Need to re-read.

Heh. It's Lojban. http://www.lojban.org/

It means, "Dammit, I hate it when a co-worker mails me and my boss *and* my boss's boss when they want something from me. It's *really* un-necessary."
