Busy guy, but elsewhere.
Just FYI, I've been posting regularily lately, doing the whole examination of belly button thing, but in Lojban, in my other journal, camgusmis. I'm mostly keeping this journal around to keep track of my friends list. -Robin | | Saturday, March 27th, 2004 | | 12:22 pm |

Columbia Billboard
(original at http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=lojban&itemid=3725; translated more loosely than usual) While I went to work this morning, I saw a billboard (which usually has advertisements) that contained an American flag and:
They reached for the stars and found heaven.
Then I cried. To my great surprise, there was nothing on the billboard that said who made it. -Robin Current Mood: sad | | Friday, February 7th, 2003 | | 6:52 pm |
xod is good at writing about Columbia
(This is a translation; the original is at http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=lojban&itemid=2948My writing style is normally better than this.) xod wrote at his blog: The spaceship [about which I feel pride] is broken [unhapiness]. I observe that people are saying this is a tragic event. However, [Respect!] I opine that it was a prideful and purposeful death, given that everyone dies.
I think that that is very good at expressing the idea of my emotions about Columbia. I suggest you read it. (xod also said: Below the process of the spaceship's explosion, some were curious about whether God had come and left without them.
But that, despite being interesting, is not much of an emotional expression. -Robin Current Mood: contemplative | | Friday, January 24th, 2003 | | 10:41 am |

Wow.
(To read the original post, please go to http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=lojban&itemid=1398) I just finished dancing using Dance Dance Revolution, which I have at home. I regularly dance to DDR in the evenings. When I get two As in close temporal proximity, I say I've beaten a song. When I'm normally dancing, I beat perhaps 1 or 2. I'm happy with that. When I dance dances that are 1 less than my normal difficulty, I am unsurprised to beat 5 dances. BTW, I recently started dancing at difficulty level 6. However, yesterday I beat *4* level 6 songs. Wow. (Also, yesterday was my birthday 8). However, I didn't understand my very good dancing. Tonight, OMGF, I beat *6* level 6 songs. Very confused I am. On the other hand, I'm happy. Possibly I danced only easy songs tonight. But I don't believe that because 2 of the dances were difficult for me (AM-3P and one I don't remember). Possibly I'm ready for level 7. But many level 6 dances destroy me. I don't get it. But I'm happy. See ya. -Robin | | Thursday, December 5th, 2002 | | 4:03 pm |
